About Me

I grew up in Mumbai, India, where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. At the time, I didn’t really know what engineering meant, it was simply the path my parents nudged me toward. But once I enrolled, I discovered computers, software, and the broader IT ecosystem, and something clicked. That curiosity changed the direction of my life.

I knew I wanted to go deeper, so after gaining some industry experience, I moved to Canada to pursue higher education at Lambton College, completing a PGDM. Since then, I’ve been working as a software engineer, building systems and learning what it really means to turn ideas into working products.

I feel incredibly lucky to be living in a time where AI is reshaping how we build, think, and work. We’re watching the next chapter of human progress being written in real time, and I love being close to that change. Whenever I get the chance, I experiment with new AI products and APIs, build small prototypes, and explore how quickly ideas can move from concept to reality.

Outside of tech, I’ve always had a creative side. I’ve been baking since I was 14, and it eventually turned into a weekend role as a baker at Walmart from 2019 to 2024, every single weekend, purely out of passion. If you’ve ever picked up a marble cake, tiramisu, or tres leches from a Walmart in Toronto during that time, there’s a good chance it was baked by me. (Rum cake is my personal specialty.

• I currently work as a Software Engineer, where I build and support backend systems that power real-world products used at scale. My role sits at the intersection of engineering, execution, and collaboration, taking ownership of complex problems, breaking them down into clear plans, and shipping reliable solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.

• Over the course of my career, I’ve worked on distributed systems, backend services, and cloud-based platforms, contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and long-term maintenance. I enjoy working in environments where requirements are not always clearly defined, and where asking the right questions is just as important as writing clean code.

• Beyond individual contributions, I naturally gravitate toward ownership and coordination. I’ve worked closely with product managers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure work moves forward predictably. Whether it’s unblocking teams, clarifying requirements, or driving execution.
